Introduction

In the current modern era, the existence of Distributed Generation (DG) is increasingly important in supporting the reliability of the electric power system. By referring to the source of electrical energy that is connected directly to the distribution network or is on the customer's side. This study discusses the effect of the DG installation on the stability of the voltage in the distribution network, especially in the TRUTUNG TR 5 GI feeders. This study focuses on the analysis of the Voltage Stability Index (VSI) before and after the DG in the distribution system.

The results of the analysis show that the VSI value on each feeder department bus changes after the DG is installed. For example, KTA Bus104 shows the VSI value before DG of 0.57553, which increased to 0.77857 after DG was installed.
