However, the two types of treatment still meet the established surface roughness standards. Edible coating functions as a barrier that holds water absorption, thus minimizing corrosive effects and providing a smoother surface. Therefore, this study recommends coating edible coating as a step that can be taken to improve the quality of the base of the artificial denture made from thermoplastic nylon.
