Introduction

Land classification is a crucial process in understanding the characteristics and potential of land for various uses, including agriculture, forestry, and urban development. This study aims to classify land in the Sickop area based on the 2003 USDA Soil Taxonomy to the subgroup level category.

Selection and division of research areas: Two research areas, P₁ and P₂, were selected and divided based on their slope and texture.

Horizon Classification

The horizon classification of the Epipedon (epipedon) on P₁ and P₂ is the oxycap, as they do not meet the criteria of other Horizon Having. The Endopedon (endopedon) horizon in P₁ is oxic, whereas in P₂ is cambik.

Based on the 2003 USDA land taxonomy key, P₁ land was classified as follows:
