Introduction

In this study, we aim to describe the side effects experienced by TB-RO patients undergoing short-term treatment at H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan.

TB is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It primarily affects the lungs, but can also affect other parts of the body. Results

The results showed that the most common side effects in patients undergoing PJP were electrolyte disorders (61.2%), nausea and vomiting (42.2%), and peripheral neuropathy (27.6%). Side effects that are rarely found include skin hyperpigmentation (0.7%), hallucinations (2.0%), and insomnia (2.0%).
