In today's digital age, the quality of accounting information systems plays a vital role in the operational success of a company. The effectiveness of these systems is crucial in supporting business decisions, improving productivity, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effect of several factors, namely the quality of accounting information systems, information system management, use of information technology, and individual performance on the effectiveness of accounting information systems at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in Samosir Regency.

Background of the Study

PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is one of the largest banks in Indonesia, with a significant presence in Samosir Regency. The bank's accounting information systems play a critical role in supporting its business operations, including financial reporting, risk management, and customer relationship management. However, the effectiveness of these systems is often hindered by various factors, including the quality of the systems, information system management, use of information technology, and individual performance.

Methodology

This study employed a questionnaire survey method to collect data from 93 BRI employees in Samosir Regency who used information technology in their work. The questionnaire was designed to measure the respondents' perceptions of the quality of accounting information systems, information system management, use of information technology, and individual performance. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to examine the relationships between the variables.
